Mid-Level .NET Developer - Liverpool | Hybrid | £40,000-£55,000 DOE
We have partnered with a leading UK manufacturing company headquartered in Liverpool, known for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. As part of their digital transformation journey, they're investing heavily in technology to optimise operations, enhance production efficiency, and deliver smarter data-driven decisions.
They're looking for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join their growing in-house software team and play a key role in building and supporting business-critical applications that drive their manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using C# and .NET (Core/6/7).
- Support internal systems that improve manufacturing workflows, reporting, and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across production and IT to deliver robust, scalable applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance of existing systems.
- Contribute ideas to improve software processes and architecture.
Technologies:
- Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core/6/7, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework
- Database: SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Frontend (desirable): JavaScript, TypeScript, or Blazor
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Docker (experience beneficial)
- Tools & Practices: REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile
Essential Experience;
- 3 years of commercial experience in .NET development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with non-technical stakeholders.
- Keen to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.
Desirable Experience:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or ERP systems.
- Exposure to Azure cloud services or on-premise to cloud migration.
- Experience integrating systems (e.g. APIs between production and business platforms).
