    Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure-Focused)
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)
    Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Paid Certifications 10% Training Time

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who thrives in modern cloud environments and enjoys shaping the future of IT systems?

We're working with a forward-thinking business that's currently undergoing a full on-prem to Azure cloud migration, creating the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be hands-on with transformation projects while still supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations.

This is a small, close-knit IT environment, so you'll have a genuine voice in technical decisions, architecture, and improvement initiatives - not just a ticket queue.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Supporting and delivering the ongoing on-prem to Azure migration, including design, deployment, and optimisation

    • Managing hybrid environments across Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, M365, and Active Directory

    • Implementing and maintaining modern cloud solutions (automation, monitoring, security, and networking)

    • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across both on-prem and cloud

    • Working closely with the IT leadership team to define and deliver new infrastructure projects

    • Keeping systems current with cutting-edge technologies and best practices

    What We're Looking For

    • Around 5 years' experience across infrastructure engineering (cloud and on-prem)

    • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure - IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and governance

    • Strong background with Windows Server, M365, Intune, Active Directory/Azure AD, and PowerShell scripting

    • Exposure to virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup/disaster recovery tools

    • Someone who's proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a small IT team

    Why Join?

    • £50,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experience

    • Paid certifications and career progression support

    • 10% of your working week allocated to professional development and training

    • Modern technology stack that's constantly evolving - no legacy-heavy environment

    • Hybrid working (2 days per week in Nottingham)

    • Tight-knit culture where your ideas and impact are recognised
